2010 may be the year that the team of the decade cements their place in the world of college baseball. This is going to be the year that the Gamecocks go all the way and win the CWS. There are a number of reasons as to why this is the truth.

If you have followed the Gamecocks over the past few years then you know that the team has a record of being in the top of the college baseball ranking for the past few years. The Gamecocks are a good team, that just simply needs to find their groove on the field, this will be the one thing that will lead the team to a CWS in 2010.

One of the reasons that the team is on the verge of winning a CWS title is due to the fact that they have several players that they recruit from area High Schools. These players then go on to bring a decent amount of power to the bullpen of the Gamecocks.

These players are the driving force behind the pitching of the Gamecocks and as a result the team has a number of players that they can rely on. there is no shortage of talent when it comes to the pitching rotation.

Now the Gamecocks have not got as far as they have by just pitching well from the mound, the team has also had a lot of success in the way of making plays in the outfield. This is one of the strongest parts of the team in the past few years. This leadership in the outfield has led the team to several championships. The outfield is one of the places that the team has a lot of strength in the fact that they have led college baseball in holding runners at base.

One of the toughest challenges that the Gamecocks will need to overcome will be Florida. This will be the biggest challenge as the Gators team is one of the strongest that the team has had in quite a few years. This will be the one team that is on the Gamecocks schedule that will give them a challenge in terms of getting victories.

If you are a fan of the Game cocks, then you already know what thousands of people already know. The Gamecocks are a team that will be there for the long haul, this will in turn all them to be a more dominant force in the upcoming seasons when they make their charge for a CWS championship in June.
