Alex Rodriguez, the batter of the New York Yankees, was able to achieve the record of six hundred home runs since the beginning of his career. Alex had joined the hall of fame of the club 600 that includes six players in addition to him. The list of players starts with Barry Bonds and ends with Sosa.

Yesterday, Shaun Marcum, the Blue Jays pitcher through his fast ball at 85 Mph and Alex Rodriguez was waiting for this ball to send it long and away out of the Stadium. The ball went directly into the net that guards the center field gap. All the Yankee team players were thrilled with the homer number 600 and that Rodriguez had entered the club of 600 homer hitters.

When he was asked about his feelings for this achievement, Alex Rodriguez said that he feels relieved after achieving the record and now he can concentrate on playing baseball with his team the Yankees. Commenting on the record that he had achieved, he said that he was glad that he achieved the record but he is happier that he achieved it in a game that his team had won and he also scored it at home and this helped him to celebrate his achievement well.

Alex Rodriguez is the youngest member in the six hundred homers club. Before that, Babe Ruth was the youngest player to achieve the same record at the age of 35 years and 198 days but, Rodriguez managed to set his own record while he is still 35 years and eight days only. This means that Rodriguez still have time to increase his record and rank higher in the club 600 homers.

Another important record is that Rodriguez is the first player to achieve more than 150 home runs with three clubs. Rodriguez achieved 255 homers with the New York Yankees and before that he achieved 445 home runs with his two former club houses.

Frankie Babilonia, the stadium employee assigned to the center field was very lucky to grab the ball falling from the net. He had the chance to snatch it forever but, he decided to hand it over to Rodriguez and in exchange, Rodriguez handed him a signed baseball bat. Surprisingly, Babilonia was only filling for an absent employee and was not even assigned to this location.

The New York Yankees are preparing for their next four game series with the Boston Red Sox. The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox are entering the series with the same position that they exited their last four – game series on May 11th. The difference between the two teams is 5 and half games over the Boston.

The fans of the Yankees and the Red Sox are waiting for this battle to see what the result is and whether the difference between the two teams would remain unchanged or these four games would make a difference.
