As per the code, the staterooms each have two means of escape. In Inevitable, one of these opens to the crew laundry area, allowing quick escape as well as a means of service for the crew.

When it comes to engineering, Palmer Johnson boats are typically known for their low vibration levels and overall quietness of the ride. Being a custom yacht, however, the Inevitable has standards of its own. M/Y Inevitable employed the creation of a ‘floating’ superstructure interior, using flexible rubber mounts for walls and interiors, and on machinery, to reduce noise levels drastically in the staterooms. And the efforts have paid off. Whereas normal conversation is 65 dB, the sound levels in the master suite are 49dB, 58 dB in the aft port stateroom and 60 dB in the starboard stateroom, even with the engines turning at 1700 rpm.
