Recreation time and activities are occurring in smaller and smaller portions everywhere. Everyone is leading such hectic lives. Since the everyday lives have become so inundated with activities no one has time to sit back, relax and enjoy the simple things that life has to offer. Work, school and extra curricular activities take up too much time.

One final way to enjoy time with others is to find a sport to compete in. Not all sports need to be competitive and there are a variety of different types so there is surely one to meet the interests of everyone. When playing a sport for recreation always keep in mind that the outcome is not what is important it is the process of getting to that outcome that counts.

Spending time together and enjoying the company of others is something that we should all do more often. No matter how busy your life and what your boat license is there is always ways to make time for those that you love and care about.
